Sorry, honey but I have a new man in my life and I have to admit...
I am one smitten kitten.
Mason Clayton Burnham made his entrance on June 17th, 2011. Yes, while I was paying my final respects to my beloved Aunt Twila, Mason was pushing his way into this world. I know there are huge cosmic implications in all of that, but I haven't been able to focus enough to sit down and understand what it all means. All I know is that Mason's blessed arrival has helped lessen the pain of her loss.
But, I just can't talk more about it right now. It is too big and the hole she left is too gaping. Later, later...
Today I will focus on joy.
Look at those cute little fingers...
Don't you just love those piggies? Couldn't you just eat them up?
He had a bit of jaundice, so he had to have the "light" treatment. We started calling him our little, radio-active man.
Can I tell you how much fun I had helping to bath him?
This little piggy went to market...
Love, love, love those cheeks!
It's been a while since I've had to test water temp. You test with your elbow, Right?
Trying hard to keep water from getting in those precious eyes.
Oops, looks like this little buck-a-roo is plum tuckered out.
Sleep well, my darling Mason. Here is the lullaby I used to sing your father to sleep with. I adore you.
